GPP (Генеральное Правительство Протектората) was the governing power associated with Nanapo during the Submine era. It was a government, not merely a private company.

GPP discovered the naturally occurring mineral Tserin. Its scientists explored the crystal's potential as a power source.

The catastrophe

A nuclear-reactor incident caused by GPP's actions produced Shard-T, the dangerous red form of Tserin. The explosion marked a turning point in the older world's history. The exact sequence of technical failures and decisions that led to it is not fully known.
