Submine is an earlier setting in the shared universe. Its history includes the government GPP, its leader Nanapo, the discovery of the natural crystal Tserin, and the disaster that produced Shard-T.

The Tserin discovery

GPP discovered Tserin and investigated its energy potential. The mineral was naturally occurring, not created by the government. GPP's work ultimately led to a reactor catastrophe and the first appearance of its corrupted red form.

People and institutions

N1RO is a significant figure in Submine's history. Accounts of his imprisonment, escape, and Shard-T infection precede his much later association with A.R.C..

Legacy

The effects of Submine's discoveries remain important long after the era ends. In Project Zenith, Tserin is again essential to industry, while Shard-T remains a serious hazard.
