The shared universe

The connected histories of Project Zero, Submine, Crystalite, and Project Zenith.

The stories of Project Zero, Submine, and Project Zenith belong to a connected setting. Characters and events recur across them, sometimes across enormous spans of time. The Crystalite project also carries forward material associated with Submine.

History

Project Zero precedes the Submine era. Submine's history includes the discovery of Tserin, the GPP reactor explosion, and the emergence of Shard-T. Far later, on another world, Mia leads the organization Zenith in an effort to restore civilization through industry.

Continuing characters

N1RO appears in the older stories and returns in the Zenith era as the figure behind A.R.C.. His presence binds otherwise distant events together.

Worlds and people

The later setting includes the institutions Zenith (organization), A.R.C., and APOGEE. Its landscape contains evidence of industry from before Mia's arrival. The history behind that earlier civilization is not fully known.
