Zenith Construction System

The Zenith Construction System (ZCS) is the computer used by Mia to establish and manage her industrial operations in Project Zenith. It arrives with the initial construction kit and remains at the landing site.

Construction

ZCS directs construction but does not impose a radius around itself. Mia can build at distant sites provided materials are delivered to the construction area and power is available.

Power and storage

The system begins with a limited reserve of energy and accessible storage. It draws on batteries supplied by Tserin. Construction consumes reserve power; the system does not drain its reserve simply by remaining idle.

Blackouts

If the power supply fails, construction and dependent systems stop. ZCS storage remains accessible even while the computer is offline. Mia can still load raw Tserin into a battery by hand to restart the system if the necessary materials are available.

Regulation

ZCS supervises crystal retirement within the power network, helping prevent worn Tserin from reaching the point of transformation into Shard-T.
